A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY
Being a canvas for an artist at a tattoo convention is a unique opportunity.
The artist will create a custom design specifically for the convention, with the goal of creating a piece that can compete for an award.
In exchange, the artist is given creative freedom to showcase their style and talent, while you have the opportunity to receive a large-scale tattoo at an extremely discounted rate. These projects can involve long and intense sessions, up to three full days of tattooing. This opportunity is best suited for someone who is comfortable committing to the process and trusting the artist creatively.

Ironborn Tattoo Studio is heading to Grand Rapids for the 2026 Grand Rapids Tattoo Festival. Ali Younes and Cody Robinson will be representing Ironborn alongside artists from across the country for a weekend of live tattooing, competitions, and custom work.Interested in becoming a convention canvas? Submit your application and our team will review your project to determine whether it is a good fit for the artists and the convention.
